our little allie is growing up! she is going to be a year old in 9 days!!! i can't believe how fast it has gone. she is so much fun. she loves madison and already wants to do everything like her. she's babbling, walking like a pro now, climbing and laughing a lot. i love this age!
madison finished swimming lessons and loved them! she asked everyday if we were going swimming:) she did great we're just going to have to work on getting her to put her head in the water more. she's a lot like her mama there. i will drown before i put my head under water:) there's a lot of history there though so i won't go there. she'll get it though. we start gymnastics a week from today. i'm not going to miss this one!! i hate to say anything and jinx it but she's doing fantastic using the potty. we do have some accidents (#2) every now and then but less accidents and way more successes!! thank goodness. i was about to give up!
we've got a busy few months ahead of us so i will try, try, try to stay on top of the blog because i do want to keep everyone in the loop of our crazy existence:) with everyone being so far away i feel like this is our connection with you so i hope you enjoy it!!

our cozy little deck, this is so nice to have! i just put up the baby gate and leave the screen open and the girls and i spend a lot of time out here. madison loves to eat her lunch on the deck-she's so cute!
view from the back of the yard. we still haven't been able to enjoy the fire pit since it's been raining and raining and raining....
this picture kind of makes the house look crooked but i assure you it's not:) to the right of this is the side yard that is fenced off to the driveway where there is another gate. we're going to take the fence down since it doesn't really serve a purpose.
view of the front of the house... i purposely didn't include the left side yard and driveway because we already had the trash cans set out and well, you know me... that would just ruin the picture:) i know, i know.... also i am just remembering we need to replace one of our burnt out lights.
flowerbeds! we just transplanted these irises from other parts of the yard so they are a little droopy at the moment, either that or dead, we'll see i guess. i also planted some little annuals too. we'll see how long i can keep those alive too!
our strawberry patch!!! he he we just planted these as well. we're so excited to have strawberries. brandon more than anyone, i'm just going to try to keep these alive as well. i think this summer will tell if i can garden or not:)

that's all folks!!
