it's kind of a long story, so i'll just say i found a spider, a big one, a mean one, and potentially dangerous one. so of course i could not sleep then when i finally did fall asleep madison (who went to bed at 5:00pm and was sleeping with me!) decided it was time to get up... um no little lady. sooooo first thing this morning i made an appt for tomorrow to have the house sprayed for icky, yucky, disgusting, eck, things. thank goodness!
our sprinkler system will not turn on for some reason unknown to us (we're probably doing something wrong-i would bet money on it), so finally i broke down and called someone to come look at it, he'll be here tonight thankfully, because our yard needs some water!
our sweet little neighbor watched the girls for me today so i could get a hair cut. it was so long overdue. the last time i had it cut was in january... and since then it's been subjected to awful highlights and color. oh, let's hope i learned my lesson for the last time! so it was time to get it cut. i found the sweetest girl to cut it and we have SO much in common. she was fun, reasonably priced and did an awesome job! i am so happy to have found someone i can go to now:)
glasses.... i can't see squat anymore. i can't hear either. i thought that "they" said if you are lacking in one sense your others tend to be stronger?? um...not the case, well, i have been told i have a sniffer on me, awesome, smell is my strong sense? i would say 9 times out of 10 that's a curse, bummer. anyway-i don't care to wear contacts, they bother me and make me feel like there is some thing in my eye (other than the contacts of course) and i end up just messing with them all day. i'm also not a candidate for lasik either so glasses it is. i really just need them for the important things like driving, working on the computer and the tv of course:) so i don't need to wear them all the time. i decided i wanted something kind of fun so i brought a box of the glasses i was thinking of getting home for brandon to help me decide and we kind of narrowed it down to one or two. well then when i got the clinic to order them wouldn't you know i came across another pair that i thought were cute and spur of the moment got them (so sorry babe)! let's hope it wasn't a bad decision.
well, now that i have blabbed on and on about nothing here's a picture of me with my new do and glasses. whatcha think? please be good to me:) i hate taking pictures of myself. do you smile, or not, what are people going to think, do i pose, sit still... oh the dilemma!
