finally!!

yesterday i braved the unknown and decided to try my old jeans on to see how close i might be to wearing them again. can you believe they fit?? i about cried:) and they fit well enough to actually go in public with them on not just the hold your breath, squeeze in and not move fit. just a couple more pounds and i'll be where i was before i was pregnant with allie. i also picked up some reebok easy tones yesterday for half off!! so, i'm looking forward to warmer weather so i can get out and walk again.

brandon's parents were in town this weekend and we had a really good time, of course! explored b-town a little, ate a ton of good food, played cards, and shopped! i call that a successful weekend.

a side note: for those of you that know our sweet little madison you know she can be a touch on the louder side. so, i was thinking surely allie will be our quiet one. oh boy- not only is she not the quiet one i was hoping she would be, she might possibly be louder than madison!!!! at the moment madison is screaming really loud then laughing so allie copies her and screams and then laughs, so on and so forth. i need to just face the fact that this is just not going to be a quiet house. i think God's thinking was that i needed loud children since i'm hearing impaired. but, if they are loud to me, holy cow they must be really loud to everyone else:) that's okay- at least they'll never go unheard in life:)

we're looking forward to this week. tomorrow evening we're going downtown to see the elephants parade down broadway. the circus is coming to town so that's when they will parade them through town. madison has been talking about the elephants for forever, she thinks she's going to ride one... then thursday afternoon we'll all be heading to the circus!! if they allow it i'm sure we'll have many pictures to share with you.

well, that's about all for now. i better get to work on the essentials, you know like the all-to-common piles of laundry.
