all sorts of stuff!!

well, i have an appointment for tomorrow morning to get my hair fixed. i'm anxious. thanks mrs. wanda for your help:) i called and the lady was so nice and knew exactly what i wanted to do. that was reassuring. she sounded like it wasn't a big deal either, thank goodness. i will let you know how it goes!

for the record, it's really not that bad, just too bright for me. i'm trying to get away from the "done up" look and go for more natural:) also, i did try to take a picture to share but i'm not the best at self portraits so that ain't gonna happen, sorry.

here are a few pictures from the last several days that i have been promising. it's not all of them by any means but a few for now. yes, i'm still in the process of finishing the last rose petals for allie's room. i'm just draggin my feet on gettin it done!

the accent wall in the living room, i painted it to match the walls in the kitchen and got new curtains. we also picked up a new little table since we moved the other one downstairs to put our ginormous old tv on:)

the pom poms!! i think they turned out fantastic and madison loves them! they were so easy!! you can find a tutorial on martha stewart's website if you are interested in making some.

what madison sees as she's laying in bed getting ready to go to sleep. even with the lights off she has a little night light in her room that really makes it look cool. i think i'm going to start sleeping with her in her room;) it's just so much fun in there!

the wall with the door has always seemed really bare to me. the memory board wasn't working so i moved it to the wall with her stained glass and found some neat pictures online, printed them out and used self laminating sheets then hung them with command poster strips. i really like the way they turned out, it's hard to tell by a picture though. i think i'm going to add a couple more to fill the wall up a little bit more. we'll see.

i came across this idea online and thought it was adorable so of course i made one for each of the girls. i will show you allie's when i finish her room. it was really easy, i used word on the computer, printed it out then mod podged it to an 8x10 canvas i picked up a walmart. to conceal the sides i cut scrapbook paper to fit and then mod podged it as well and in a few minutes, viola!

that's all the pictures i have of my little projects for now, but here are some pictures of madison and allie playing with their neighbor friends, Aliyah and Jace who are just a hop, skip and a jump away!
