pictograph caves

we've been wanting to get up camping for a while now, but with the crazy weather we've had we would rather not be camping in snow. so we decided to run up to the pictograph caves and look around and it was so neat! it's only about 15 minutes outside of town but it felt like we were miles away! the girls really liked it.

i also threw in a couple photographs of the doves and freak deer that are always hanging around. between the squirrels, birds, deer and rabbits i sometimes feel like i'm in the movie "bambi". it's so much fun watching the squirrels chase each other through the trees. when it was raining the other day i couldn't help but think of the song in "bambi" when it rains... is it stuck in your head now too? he he-you're welcome! i could seriously stare out at our backyard forever... i still don't know how we got so lucky! well, i know how, just not why...
