made it to beautiful colorado!

well, we made it to beautiful colorado!! it was a long 8 hour ish drive with several stops to cheyenne but we made it. the girls did great for the most part:) between naps (yes, can you believe it!?), watching cars and shrek and just looking out the window it was a pretty good drive. not one i would want to take a lot but it wasn't miserable . we stayed with our cousins amy and leila in cheyenne and got to see their new house, which is so cute! we also got to see cousins ryan, jamie and rylee. it was SO good to see everyone and the girls really loved hanging out. we miss everyone so much! although short we're so glad we got to see you guys!! we met uncle doug and aunt betty for lunch thursday and had a a really good visit. it's always nice to catch up over good food:) thursday afternoon and evening we spent with blake and gabby and attempted to grill and eat outside but with the horrendous rain storm, thunder and lightning we resorted to eating inside:) we really didn't care where we were eating or what we were eating as long as it was with them! you guys are such great friends!! we finished dinner and then went and grabbed some delicious frozen yogurt and just visited the rest of the evening. none of us wanted to say goodbye, but inevitably it had to happen. hopefully it won't be too long until next time! now, we're getting ready to pick my parents up from the airport, i'm so excited....
