swings, slides, and monkey bars!

it was so nice to have such a long weekend with our little family! it was so relaxing. brandon had friday off - yay! we woke up to snow, but that was fine because we ended up just snuggling up and watching a movie then later in that day the boys watched the kiddos while a friend and i went to costco and then starbucks!! that was relaxing and wonderful! i am so blessed to be able to stay at home with the girls, and i'm not complaining but that job never stops! so it's nice to get a break like that. i almost didn't know what to do with myself. i thought "so this is what it was like before the girls, yep i remember now!" i wouldn't trade my life for anything though, they are my world!

saturday was gorgeous! we slept in then walked to the school down the street and played on the playground for quite a while. madison had so much fun and allie just crawled all over the place, she loved it too. brandon and i might have enjoyed ourselves too! the girls absolutely wore themselves out, allie crashed on the way home in the stroller :-) while allie was napping we dyed some easter eggs with madison. i think she had a lot of fun, she scribbled all over those things. later that evening the daddy's of the block hid the easter eggs for the kids the next day. it was like an easter basket exploded out there!! while they were doing that we closed absolutely every curtain in the house (just in case) and madison and i made cookies. as if we needed to have the extra sugar in the house with easter being the following day?? anyway, we finished up the cookies and watched shrek. it was a nice night with my girlie!
