WOW!! Has it been a while since I've posted or what??? It has been so crazy here at the Treese house. We've been finalizing moving details, enjoying family and the holidays! I guess I will start by saying sorry now. It's going to be a photo overload in this post to play catch up. I'm not quite sure if I have a picture for EVERY day but it's pretty darn close. Brandon had the camera when he went to Montana so I was without it for a couple of days.
Where to start? Well, the girls and I received an early Christmas present from Jo Jo and Pap Paw Billy, UGGS!!! Thank you!!! They are SO adorable, the girls love them and stay so warm in them. I might be loving mine too, they are great with the whole skinny jean/legging style now. Speaking of that, I have to say I NEVER thought I would EVER put on a pair of leggings and wear them out of the house, well, never say never because I broke down and finally decided to try some on with my new boots and oh. my. goodness. I'm hooked. The whole legging/skinny jean trend has grown on me! I know, I know...
Anyway, back to the important stuff that doesn't involve me going on about leggings:) Like I said earlier Brandon went to Montana for a couple of days for work and was able to look around Billings shortly before heading home. We are leaving in the morning to go house hunting for about 9 days (yay!). I'm so excited I just can't hide it!! It will be an adventure. We are going to drive the seven hours and hope for good roads and cooperative children... I can hope right??
Since we have so much traveling coming up we decided to stay home for Thanksgiving this year. We woke up and watched the Macy's parade (my favorite part of Thanksgiving) and I actually cooked our meal all by myself (Brandon helped too:) And guess what?? It was actually a success that did not result in anything being burned AND it was all edible! Madison told me it was yummy and it made my day! Because I'm weird like that I took a picture of my plate before I ate it all! I would have taken a beautiful picture of the table set and it all laid out but let's be honest there was nothing laid out in any sort of order. We were so hungry and the kitchen was a disaster, I'm lucky I got the picture of the plate. The menu was: Honey ham, edamame (say that ten times fast), sweet potatoes, cranberry salad, rolls, macaroni and cheese, sweet tea AND I made a delicious carrot cake for dessert! I was so proud! It was a very relaxed day, after we stuffed our faces we watched football then crashed. Friday our cousins came down and spent the day with us as well as Brandon's parents. They came down for the weekend and we had so much fun. We usually spend the weekend after Thanksgiving shopping for birthdays and Christmas, then I get to wrap all of the presents (love that part)!! We also get our Christmas tree, and we got a good one this year. We went to the Fern Hill farm here in Greeley and enjoyed the hay ride, hot chocolate and tree cutting, then we came home and decorated it. It was a really good time!! Madison had so much fun she fell asleep before we could get the tree to the truck.
That about wraps it up for now. I hope I don't continue to bombard you with a ton of information all at once but it's just crazy right now. Hopefully I'll be back soon... keep checking and we'll hopefully have some house hunting details to share!
