Day 69: Introducing WIRED HDH!!

Drum roll... I want to tell you all about this new business venture that my husband and I along with some friends of ours have begun. First, I want to forewarn you that there are a lot of pictures in this post because I want you to know just how amazing this product is! This isn't a sales pitch (but if you feel the need to spread the word, that would be awesome), we just want to let you in on what we have been doing for the past year on nights and weekends.

The business is called WIRED HARNESSES, LLC but the bread and butter is tied to our trademark, WIRED HDH TM. Since Brandon knows way more about this as far as technicalities go I am going to let him (that's right) tell you all about it. Let me just say, how extremely proud I am of Brandon and Patrick. I really am impressed with what you have done!!

Now, Brandon will tell you the rest...

Hey All! I'll try to keep this short, but I'm not gonna lie, we're pretty excited about it, so I can get long-winded about it in a hurry. First, I'll let you know that almost everything is spelled out pretty well at www.wiredhdh.com, so you might just go check it out. If you had previously been on our "test" site already, you're really in for a treat. Patrick has spent MANY HOURS re-vamping our site.

Since most everything is already on our site, I'll just give you the "background" story and leave the "product" stuff to the website.

Here's why I believe that God exists...and that he (for some reason unknown to me) takes us delinquents in under his loving grace...

Patrick and I met at UNC...which shouldn't sound all that unusual. A lot of people meet their life-long friends in college. The weird part is that Patrick and I should have never met. Patrick only went to one semester of college and was a Technical Theater major. Our interests were totally different and the ONLY reason that we met was because there was a friend of a friend of my roommate and we happened to meet at a seminar that I was putting on (anyone remember my PrePaid Legal venture?!) Anyway, I started working at Village Inn while in college. Patrick's sister was a shift manager there and Patrick and I ended up working together as servers (there's another 15 pages of stories that go with that job...but they're for another time...another day). Patrick left college and we didn't really hang out for the next three years. Sometime after Lesley Grace and I got married (and we had just decided to sell our 50% share in the deli we started in downtown Greeley, Salvador Deli), we went to dinner with Patrick over in Loveland. At the very end of the night, we told Patrick that we didn't really know what we would do now and that we were looking for our next "thing". Patrick mentioned that the company that he was working with at the time (SVI Trucks) was hiring a Contract Administrator. I was hired a few weeks later. Patrick stopped working at SVI because his other business, Recreational Electrical, was booming and he was forced to make the leap. Again, Patrick and I fell out of contact for a couple years. I'm not sure how we got suckered into playing softball with Patrick and his girlfriend Whitney, but we did...and it was AWESOME!! We played on their team the summer of '09 and won the championship!! They have an amazing team by the way. It was about six months later that I was complaining to Patrick about a real estate deal of mine that had just fell through. He jokingly said, I've got something we can do if you're looking to spend money. WIRED HARNESSES, LLC was born on November 14th, 2009. Before I turn you loose on the pictures and the website, there are a few other things worth mentioning:
(1) the products were developed because of Patrick's nine+ year experience in this field and there were several times that he tried to find a product to make his life easier and it just didn't exist....well, now it does!
(2) We've set this company up as an automated business with an online store. In other words, we've contracted out about 80% of the work and will only have a minor roll of some assembly and quality control in the beginning. After we develop a system that we feel comfortable with, we'll pass it along to our contract manufacturer and fulfillment house and they'll do 99% of the work at that point. I say that because, as most of you know, currently I work at ConocoPhillips as a Corporate Real Estate Agent. I LOVE it there and wouldn't trade it for the world. I never work on WIRED while at the office...and the cool thing is that I don't have to. I have no plans of quitting ConocoPhillips (that sound you just heard was my wife letting out a HUGE sigh of relief!!). And speaking of Lesley Grace, please be sure to let her know how AMAZING her pictures are....she took ALL of them for our website, advertising, manuals, newsletters, etc, etc. Thank you, Babe.

Anyway, there you have the behind the story story and can now review the seven pages of pictures we have below. Don't forget to check out the website as well, www.wiredhdh.com.

Thank you,

BRANDON W. TREESE
