a bunch of randomness :-)

this past weekend linda came down and we had a girl's weekend. it was FABULOUS!! we had so much fun, we shopped 'til we dropped, ate tons of good food, worked in the yard, and watched a cute, cute movie. if you girls haven't seen the back-up plan it's a good one, put it on your list! we hated to see nama go sunday. i wish i had some pictures to show you of the flowerbeds but i forgot to take some and my battery is dead, so i will get them up as soon as i can.

meanwhile, i finally made some pillows for our bed. it was a learning experience i'll just say that. these pictures are all the closer i am going to get to them for various reasons:) i did great on the sewing machine that was a piece of cake but the hand sewing part at the end wasn't so great. let's just say i'm glad they are in our room where no one else will see them. i love the pattern though!!

i've been working on some more photos but can't post them because some of them might be gifts, i just don't know:) i absolutely love doing them, if anyone has anything they would like me to do please just hollah!! :) i have to make myself put the computer down and slowly walk away, that's how much i enjoy it!

madison was supposed to start swimming lessons yesterday but i'm a horrible mother and totally spaced it. it could have been because i had a sick one on my hands (more on that in a minute), or the fact that it was raining cats and dogs, but for some reason i have had the 26th stuck in my head. that's the day they end not start dang it! luckily i caught it last night. we'll be going to our first lesson tonight. i am so excited for her. i will definitely post pictures.

about the sick one... allie came down with a fever on sunday. a very high fever. it stayed around 103 degrees sunday and then monday morning was 104 degrees. i just didn't want to take any chances so we went to the doctor and they couldn't seem to figure out what was wrong. her ears, throat, skin, etc. looked good. they got some urine to check and make sure there was no infection. we were told to come back today to do a follow up and we would do some blood work if her temp did not go down. luckily she woke up this morning with no fever and seems to be doing great. thank goodness!! i hate it when they are sick and there is nothing you can do for them:(

well, i better go for now. i'll post some pictures of madison's first swimming lesson later. here's a video of allie walking today....
