Mama and Jo Jo got here today after what I'm sure was a long 3 days on the road. We were so happy to see them! I'm really excited to have them here for a little while. We went to Chili's for supper tonight before Brandon headed out for a business meeting.
This morning I braided Madison's hair for the first time. It went okay. I'm not that type of mom who always does cute little hair dos, sorry to say. Coming up with new ways to wear hair has never been my strong suit. I struggle with trying to mix it up with my hair. Down, straight, curled or up in a bun is about as extravagant as it gets. So, I'm working on being more adventurous with our hair. Madison loved her braids right up until she figured out she could take them out. They lasted all of an hour. Oh well... I tried something new.
