Well, I finally got around to getting some pictures of our house up. We've been battling the flu ever since we moved here which has made it interesting but we've survived.... so far:) We closed on the house on the 1st of February and immediately the flooring guys began work. We put new floors in about 90% of the house (thank you to those that helped us to be able to do that!!). We also did a lot of painting!! I mean a lot!! Brandon's family helped some as well, thank goodness! We painted the master bed and bath, the girls' rooms, the kitchen/dining and all of the doors and trim on the two main levels. I wanted to do the entire house but when we got to where we did I said absolutely not right now. In the future possibly but I'm really going to have to bribe Brandon to get into that again. It was really tedious and time consuming doing the trim and doors. I just hate oak and we really wanted dark floors in the kitchen so we couldn't keep the existing trim and doors. So, for now the basement has oak doors and trim and we haven't done any painting down there...yet:) We also got new stainless steel appliances in the kitchen and Oh.My.Goodness!! They are amazing!! Jo Jo and Pap Paw Billy treated us to our new bedroom set as a house warming gift and we love it!! Thanks so much!! I've posted some before pictures as well so you can get the full effect of what we actually did!! Enjoy!!

Painted an accent wall and changed the curtains.

Looking up to the front door from the basement.
The basement living area. We are using it as the playroom/office/craft room. It works quite well!
We still don't have a lot on the walls in the basement, we're still in the process of getting stuff up.The craft area!!
Playroom/Movie Room
Laundry room is the first opening to the left with a closet for more storage, second door on the left is the guest bathroom, the guest bedroom is at the end of the hall and the storage area under the stairs is on the right wall (you can't see it from here) so the stairs are also on the right.
Part 1 of the laundry room (pay no attention to the HUGE bottle of vodka in the corner it was a gift for Brandon when he passed the real estate exam in '05. I haven't found a place for it yet.)
Part 2 of the laundry room
Guest bathroom
Guest Bedroom looking from the hallway. The patio is out the window.
The guest bedroom looking from the bathroom. There is a door that connects the two.
Back upstairs, the hallway off of the kitchen/dining area. Closet on the left (and right, you just can't see it). The first room on the right is Madison's room, the second room on the right is Allie's room, the girls' bathroom is at the end of the hall and the Master is on the left at the end.

The girls' bathroom, it's in between master bedroom and Allie's room at the end of the hall looking from the kitchen.

Well, that's our new house. I didn't get pictures of the garage, it's a two car garage. Hope you liked it!! We LOVE it! The neighborhood is great, with lots of little ones for Madison to play with and eventually Allie too!

Lesley Grace, it all looks amazing...you've done a great job. So sad it is so far away. We miss y'all. Glad you're all feeling better.
LOOKS FANTASTIC! That guest room looks comfy. Nice digs and congratulations. How does Brandon like taking care of the snow in the driveway and sidewalk?

Wow it is AMAZING!! So glad that y'all are getting settled and are feeling better. I can imagine getting lots of sewing done with the girls playing and reading a good book in that incredible window nook in your room. Miss y'all! Erin asked when Madison is going to come and play :)
I wish we Lesley Grace's sense of style when it came to finishing and painting our house. Congratulations on the beautiful home!
