Allie had her 2 month! checkup last Friday and the doctor said she was doing great!! He couldn't believe how well she could hold her head up and stand on her legs (with us holding her of course). She had to have some shots but she really did do well, she fell asleep as soon as we got in the truck. She's 10 pounds 12 ounces and 22 1/2 inches long. I can't believe how quickly she's growing up.
My mom was in town for a week and we all had a good time. She left yesterday morning really early. Over the weekend Brandon had a softball tournament here in Evans. They did well and almost made it to the finals, but boy was it hot! It's been consistently in the 90's here lately and it's made me crave the fall:) What would I do without the seasons? Brandon's last softball game was last night. They are in first place, the same as last year. It's a really good team and they all have a lot of fun. I played on the team last year but since I was pregnant for part of the season this year I sat out this summer but plan to play again next year! I miss it:) He has one more tournament on the 22nd and then it's so long softball 'til next year.
Brandon and I realized last night just how busy these next couple of months are going to be, wow! I can't believe all that we have going on. It's going to be interesting, but fun too:) Hopefully I will be able to keep the blog updated and keep y'all informed because I know every day you wonder what we're doing, right? JK
