Drumroll....

Allie Hannah Treese was born on Thursday, June 10th at 7:32 pm. She weighs 7 pounds 1 ounce and is 20 1/2 inches long. Everything went wonderfully. We checked into the hospital around 9:30 on Thursday morning and started my penicillin drip and eventually started the pitocin around 2:30 to start the induction. At about 4:00 pm the doctor checked me and broke my water. I was still around 4 centimeters. At 6:00 pm I opted for the epidural because that pitocin was just too much for me. I was having STRONG contractions about every minute. At 7:00 pm I was already 10 centimeters dilated and ready to push. I pushed a total of 5 times and she was born in less than two minutes:) It was absolutely awesome and once I had that epidural I was in heaven, totally relaxed.

Madison hung out at the hospital most of the day with Gran and Aunt Hannah and they did great. She was so excited to see her little sister Allie. It was so neat to watch. I will post more pictures when I get some rest but for now here is Allie. We should be released from the hospital by Friday evening.

Looks a lot like Madison when she was a baby in this picture.
