Madison is now 18 months old as of June 7th if you can believe that, we sure can't! Summer is here, or so they say. We have not had much summer weather at all. In fact for the last couple of weeks we have had a ton of bad weather with many tornado warnings. We've had at least one per day this past week, one tornado was 20 miles from our house which was too close if you ask me. We have some photos of us trying to waterproof our tent that we bought for camping. Little did we know they had just issued a tornado warning after we left the house, so we had no clue until a neighbor came out and let us know:) We sped it up a little after that! Let's just say the spray might not have been completely dry when we packed it up and went back inside, it was dry enough given the situation:)
Madison had her 18 month checkup on June 8th. She is 22 lbs, the little squirt! All is well and she is growing just fine. In fact, the doctor was VERY impressed at how well she is growing. They are always commenting on how good she is:) We have been teaching her some sign language and it's absolutely phenomenal how well she picks it up. It makes it so much easier to communicate with her because she'll just sign it:) We're in the process of learning some new signs now. She's not saying a whole lot yet, but I guess that's normal. She can say dog, more, mama, dada, book, uh-oh and a few more words that have slipped my mind right now. She is on day two without her binky. We really thought it would be a lot harder but she is doing great, she was even fine going to sleep without it last night. Well, we hope you enjoy the pictures and that everyone is doing well and enjoying their summer.
She loves playing with our keys... and also hitting the panic button, you would think we would learn by now:)
