we just keep going and going and going....

we're back from a whole bunch of traveling and i'm absolutely drained. there has been so much going on, some good, some not so good, but that's just life i suppose :-) a few weekends ago, we went to see brandon's g-pa who had been really ill with cancer for quite a while. he passed away on the 25th of august and the funeral was the 29th. he's going to be greatly missed by a lot of people. it was a beautiful funeral and almost all of the family was there for it, which was amazing!

we just got back yesterday from a trip to cheyenne to see our cousins. it was such a good visit and i'm so glad we went. we all had a really good time catching up. i hate that we all live so far away from each other. it took us about 7 1/2 hours to get there and 7 to get back so it wasn't too bad. the girls did great, they really are getting to where they travel really well. that's ALWAYS a plus! we've been like the energizer bunny, going and going and going... and i think it's time we stop going for a little while :-) we would get home from one trip and i wouldn't even unpack the suitcases because i knew we would turn around and pack again. i'm not complaining one bit, we love to travel and we love seeing people it just all seems to hit at once.

i'm really looking forward to fall. i'm tired of the heat, ready for football, changing leaves, cool air, scarves, cider, did i mention cool air? i'm just not a fan of the heat, unless i'm sitting on the beach or by a pool, even then....

i haven't been taking a lot of pictures and that makes me sad, we've just been so busy! i'll try to get the few that i have up soon. whelp that's it in a nutshell, better get on with the never ending checklist of things to do...
